LnLclothing.com sent me a few items to review. I tried to pick out as much of a variation so that you guys can get a better take on the different products that they sell. But here are some info & my thoughts on the site.

What they sell?
LnLclothing sell all sorts of products ranging from womens, mens, children, plus size wear, hats, handbags, jewelry, makeup, dresses & more!



Price?
Everything in the store are less than $15 guarantee :)


Quality?
The thing I noticed about their products is that they sell items that are sold at Forever21. So the quality is literally similar.

Shipping?
They ship to US & Canada only. The items were sent to me via USPS. And like mentioned in my video, I received my items in less than 5 days from processing to my doorstep.

Recommendation?

Influenster's Love Voxbox

I may be one of the last people that received their Love Voxbox this month. So I was extremely hesitant on making a youtube video for it since I'm pretty sure an unboxing would be quite boring after watching it for the 50th time! So I decided on just trying out the products and writing my opinion on them in this blog :) So let's get started.

For those who has never heard of Influenster let me give you a refresher. If you've heard of Birchbox, glam bags or anything that has monthly subscriptions you've already got the basics of Influenster. BUT unlike Birchbox, Influenster is 100% Free. It's a program who sends out several products every couple of months (called voxboxes)to "influensters" (bloggers, vloggers etc. [who are influential]). So once you receive these lovely products, you go ahead and try them out and rate & recommend to other people.

So how do you qualify? If you love to blog or make youtube videos then influenster is right for you! lol Im not exactly sure how they choose which people to send these voxboxes to. But what I did was I went to Influenster's website signed up & completed a few of these things called badges (you fill out surveys to see if you qualify to earn them, & these badges will help Influenster determine your personality & likes to see if you qualify for the products their sending out) It's really simple and easy! So if you're interested sign up! It won't hurt to try and see if you'll qualify!

So back to the Love Voxbox! This is actually my second Voxbox that was sent to me by Influenster. (Check out the holiday voxbox video ) But unlike the previous box, I received mines quite late. But anyway, these bad boys are mailed in these white boxes with the theme sticker in front :) They are well packaged and it's quite exciting to see what's inside!

Stash Tea Herbal Tea Sampler: ($3.50) The sampler came with 9 different flavors (all quite fruity) the first thing I noticed about this is it's CAFFEINE FREE! Im a big coffee & tea drinker but I'm a bit more of an orange pekoa, earl gray &/or brown rice type a girl. So I automatically thought of having a tea party with my nieces using these tea! They would just love being able to chose from blueberry, pomegranite & even mango! Sadly, I live a bit far from them so I did open one up before bed (since the caffeine wont prevent me from staying up all night) and it's quite delicious! I'm thinking of just brewing a few bags & shoving em in the fridge for Ice tea! So all and all STASH tea is a definite thumbs up!

Ghirardelli Gourmet Milk Chocolate Bar & $1 coupon: ($2.99) Is it sad that I was most excited about opening this up? I am a HUGE chocolate fan (what girl isn't) so this was what I opened and gobbled up first! I LOVE MILK chocolate & I have not tried one Ghirardelli product that disappointed me just yet! The brand itself I feel like has such a great reputation and will always be a must buy! NOMMM!

Truvia Natural Sweetener: ($3.99 40 ct.)Being a big coffee drinker, I avoid REAL sugar so I usually drink my coffee with two splenda & half half. But the only thing I hated about Splenda is the after taste! & the fact that it doesn't look or taste like real sugar! So I was quite excited about trying Truvia. One of the best thing about it is that the texture is just like sugar! But once I tried it by it self, it has some sort of cooling taste (kind of the feeling when you eat mint) or is it just me? But it does sweeten coffee a bit faster than real sugar & taste a bit more authentic than the other sweeteners out there, so I actually might switch over to this from Splenda! (if only the coffee shops will do the same)

(Now for the more beauty related items:)



Gillette Venus & Olay Razor: ($8.99-$10.99) So both Gillette & Olay are one of the more high reputation brands. (Venus razor having 5 blades for close shave & Olay having skin enhancing elements) Although I DO love the feeling of my well moisturized legs after the shave, Im not a big fan of have a bar of soap wrapped around my razor. It's one of those 1-3 time uses and for $10 that's quite an expensive shave! I also don't like the fact that after a couple of uses the soap starts to fall apart! Love the idea, but it's too pricey for my pocket! So will not buy in the future :(

Kiss Nail Dress-Fashion that sticks: ($6.99) This is way too similar to just stickers! So this is a definite NO! It reminds me too much of nail products for little kids! Although I LOVE the design variety, I will definitely would much rather spend $7 on a bottle of nail polish. This is not practical at all. Although I think it would be nice for your little girls since you don't have to worry about harsh chemicals on their nails. (& the fact that it just peels off, so no encounters with nail polish removers) The only place that I think that it may be worth it is if you apply it as an accent nail, Since It will last a good 10+ applications (so you get bang for your buck) and since its not on all nails, it would last a bit longer.

So all and all a couple of great products! I just love how Influenster sends products that you wouldn't usually buy! Hopefully one of you guys will find my reviews useful. Thank you to Influenster & the listed companies for sending out these products! Can't wait for the next one!

Natural looking waves

So here it is, my most requested video! I finally got off my lazy butt and filmed my infamous curls that I wear almost ALL the time. To be honest, it's seriously so much easier to curl my hair with a hair straightener than actually straighten it! It takes me less than 10 minutes to achieve this look; and I usually wear it for two days!

Hope you guys enjoy this tutorial & let me know if you guys have any other requests!

Here are some tips & tricks to help you easily achieve this look:

-Day old hair works best for it holds the curls more.
-If you want to use any hair products, try to apply it on wet hair & NOT before you curl your hair. (This will keep it from weighing down the curls)
-If you want to wear it for a couple of days, you can just touch up the next morning.
-Don't forget to angle your flat iron when doing your bangs.

The meaning behind "delahmae"

A few people have been wondering what the meaning behind my YouTube/twitter/FB/blog name "delahmae"; So I thought I'd finally take the time to answer that question for you guys.

First off, for those who already know me and are aware of my Full real name I'm sure you guys have already figured out the obvious. But for everyone else let me go ahead and break it down for you.

"Del" (is the first few letters of my last name "DELacruz")
"ah" (is from the last two letters of my first name "SarAH")
"Mae" (is my middle name.)

(Actually my first name can get quite confusing. My First name is SARAHMAE all in one word but for some reason after years I guess I decided to separate it and even made it somehow disappear. lol)

But my closest family call me Sarahmae, or mae-mae (meaning little sister in Chinese). But usually when I'm in BIG trouble with my dad he usually Yells out SARAHMAEEEE!!!! (In a fob filipino accent)So I have been introducing my self as just SARAH with no MAE for years. lol So You all can go ahead and call me SARAH <3

Hopefully this cleared up the curiousity of "delahmae" for you guys! :) & help you guys learn a little about me outside of the YouTube world.

NuMe Curling wand Review, tutorial & Giveaway

So NuMe sent me my very first curling wand a few weeks ago. I've been playing with it since I've gotten it and I must admit how much I love it!

If you are unfamiliar with curling wands its basically just a curling iron with No Clips. But instead of starting your curls at the very end of your hair (which is quite unhealthy for your hair) you can start right in the middle. Which can give you more volume and curls :)

The item I chose (special thanks to my twitter friends who helped me choose which one i wanted) was this really adorable slouchy leatherette boots

So first impressions; The shipping was incredibly fast! (I got it within 3 days) It was well packaged in its cute little shoe box. These knee high boots is priced at $34.70 at GoJane.com which is quite a deal for boots. Because lets face it, boots are pretty pricey (they cost at least $50 at the cheaper stores) But anyway, the quality is well made! I can promise you that these boots are well worth the $34.70.

Although I still have to wear em in a bit for walking in them for a long time hurts like a B**** but what 3-5 inch heels doesnt? They are honestly really easy to walk in! They're well padded and have those fancy smancy grips in front so you don't slip and slide everywhere.

So all and all I AM SO DEEPLY in love with these bad boys! They're so perfect for work & just winter itself! I cant wait to pair em up with cute dresses & jeans!

Oh and another thing, GoJane.com have TONS of 5.5 size shoes. As a little tiny shorty (lol) I have super tiny feet (Size 5.5-6)So finding 5.5 is pretty obsolete at all your local department stores. So I'm quite excited how I can find a few pairs of shoes in my size without having to go to the childrens section!

Just a random haul...

Just thought I'd share my little haul :D

Lux Addiction

Lux Addiction sells a range of phone cases (and even ipad cases), but instead of your ordinary ones that you can find at any store. Lux Addiction's every single case is personally hand crafted.

The case I received was shipped fairly quickly (3 days via USPS). It was very well packaged. My first impression was "wow, they mustve taken hours putting this together". Which makes you appreciate all the effort and time the company takes to make these cases. Although the prices are quite steep "$79.95+" the quality and time they took to make it is worth the $80. They use rhinestones or swavorski crystals on every case.

The case I chose was in the simpler side. Like I mentioned in my YT video, I like to throw my phone in my back pocket so all the chunky flowers sticking out from the back just wasn't gonna cut it. But I do enjoy the style I chose. Although it might be a little too flashy for my taste, I must admit the case is gorgeous!

Macadamia Deep Repair Masque Review & Giveaway

Lets Shed Some of that Hoilday Weight Together:

Now that the holidays are over we're all coming back to our usual everyday schedule. It seems like most of us have the mentality that once the Holidays come around we feel as if we're in a long vacation, & have the need to eat none-stop along with the "I'll workout tomorrow" type of thing. Does this imply to everyone or is it just me & my lazy self! lol

Anyway, I don't just blame the extra 10-15 lbs I gained to the holidays. I actually slowly gained it throughout the years since college. (Freshman 15?) I know 15 lbs you might say is chump change to you. But for a person as short as I am (4'11) 5-15 pounds is a whole lot! I've tried to work out, eat healthy & even both at times :) But somehow I find myself back in the rut since life has kinda kept me busy. Not to mention my boyfriends bad eating habits which I catch on as well.

So enough with the excuses, this year I really want to get back in shape! Always resorting in black clothing, Muffin tops & not being comfortable in putting on a two piece kinda makes me sad! So lets brainstorm on how we can accomplish this goal and get our body back!

Before I get started, please remind yourself that losing weight should be for yourself. There's no such thing as the perfect body; The perfect body is all in the mind. & nothing is more beautiful than self confidence. The reason why I want to lose a few lbs is because I wanna be able to fit into clothes without having to hide my arms or belly & mainly just so I can be a little more healthy.

So let me tell you my goals on achieving my goal:

1) Drink lots water: I tend to drink a bit too much coffee & not enough water. Water helps release the water retention in your body so by drinking the daily intake of water (Divide your weight in half and thats your daily intake in oz. EX: 100lbs/2=50 oz of water intake) This is the best and fastest way to see weight loss! So skip the soda & juices and resort to water! (TIP: Buy one of those 24oz water bottle & just remember to drink 2-4 of those a day (depending on your intake requirements) At least it's easy access and ready to take anywhere with you!)

2) Avoid too much Sugar & Salt: I feel like women are more likely to crave the sweets than men. So it's much more difficult to turn down that big piece of chocolate cake! This has to be my biggest problem. I LOVE baking & eating it! lol But by reducing your sugar & salt intake will help burn all your stored fat rather than having your body feeling the need to store Fat since sugar isn't the best energy source. As well as too much sodium makes your body retain water & keeps you bloated! So lets think twice before eating that cookie or a bag of chips. "A moment on the lips is a lifetime on the hips" (TIP: Stop buying junk food and replace it with fruits & healthy replacements)

3)Dont skip breakfast & STOP eating so late at night: The problem with me is that I sleep late & wake up late so i'm always in the rush in the morning. Usually coffee is breakfast to me & since my boyfriend gets hungry past midnight I usually make him food & end up eating with him. So my GOAL is to eat like a King for breakfast (this is when you jumpstart your metabolism & have all day to burn what you ate) A prince for lunch & a beggar for dinner. (TIP: Always have fruits handy so in times when you have no time to prepare breakfast & drink hot tea/milk when you crave for something at night)

4) Eat with your stomach NOT with your eyes: Another big problem of mine. I put too much food on my plate & force myself to eat it all since I get guilty for wasting. Learning how to eat in portions will definitely help you not to overeat! Also, instead of eating ONE giant meal a day, spread it out throughout the day. Eat breakfast, snack, lunch, snack, dinner & a small snack. This will really help your metabolism burn the fat/calories much more efficiently! (TIP: Put everything you eat on a plate. EX: Putting crackers/wheat thins on a plate rather than grabbing from the box will help you see how much your eating)

5) Exercise: My most hate one of all. Im pretty sure I would end up avoiding this one the most. So im gonna put a realistic goal by taking the stairs instead of the elevator or parking a little farther from the store. But if you wanna be super hardcore, do a few jumping jacks a day or even go running or the gym! (TIP: Find a workout buddy to help motivate each other. Or the easiest of them all is walk around the mall for 30-45 minutes.)

Find a motivation and push thru it! As for me, I like to look at my old photos when I was skinny & drool over it in hope that I can have that body again! So lets cross our fingers & hope we can reach our goal! REMEMBER that being healthy is the most important of them all! Never starve yourself or over push yourself. Having a super banging body will be nothing if your unhealthy! So lets cross our fingers and hope we can reach our goals! New Beginnings

First off HAPPY NEW YEAR! I figured what better day to start off this blog than January 1st of 2012! I'm so excited to continue my Youtube journey with such lovely and extremely supportive people. I'm hoping to use this blog to help extend my Youtube channel via blogging on certain products when I do not have time make a video, as well as using this as a way for my subscribers/readers/friends to get a little peak into my life. So lets cross our fingers and hope for success towards this blog.
